Dr. Mackenzie obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees, in psychology and education respectively, from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked in social service before pursing medical studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. After general surgery residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, she completed her plastic surgery residency at McGill University in Montreal. She has been in "Best Surgeons in America" for the last three years and was nominated for the "Best Surgeon of the Year" award through the Wyoming Medical Center. Dr. Mackenzie is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
